Dynamic catalogues
An OCI (Open Catalog Interface) is a standardised interface that enables access to external product catalogues directly from an ERP system (e.g. SAP) and is updated automatically. Instead of manually selecting products in an online shop and then transferring the order data to their own system, a buyer can use the OCI interface to access the BLÄSSINGER online shop catalogue directly from their ERP system.
Typical process flow:
- Connection to the supplier catalogue: The customer calls up the BLÄSSINGER product catalogue directly from their ERP system at
- Product search and selection: The customer searches for required products and places them in the shopping basket
- Transfer of data: Instead of finalising the order in the online shop, the selected items are transferred back to the customer's ERP system with one click
- Internal approval and order: The order is processed further in the customer's own system, approved and then sent to BLÄSSINGER
